Progress #9

Weighed in at 66,5kg (146,4). Ow yeah, I’m sooooo starting to feel I can do this by my birthday!! It will be the first time I see my boyfriend in more than 2 months and I know he’s really excited to see me and the change :)

I will probably take measurements this afternoon if I don’t forget (got up really late).

Today I’ll be finishing my thesis, yay!!

Progress #8

Last week I did not weigh myself on Sunday, because I stayed with my parents and there was no scale. Today I weighed 67,4kg (148,6). I knew this was going to happen because I ate too much last week.

Overall I’m okay with it. But I will not reach my goal of getting down to 65 by the end of the month. So I set myself a new goal :) 65 or less by my birthday in 3 weeks. This must be reachable :)

Shark week has arrived so I hope I will behave :p

Oh and I started doing Jillian Michael’s No more trouble zones. I know I told you I was doing Killer buns and thighs (which I alternated with 6 weeks sixpack), but 6 weeks sixpack is just not a nice workout I think. It’s too fast and I’m too slow :p No more trouble zones incorporates almost all my favourite exercises. I now use my new dumbells (2kg) and it’s hard :)

That awesome moment

When running 45 minutes feels like no big deal. No pain, no soreness, no tiredness, just running and feeling on top of the world. I ran faster than before here and afterwards I was like wow :)

Tomorrow my parents arrive!! Have to leave at 10.30am to the airport because the next bus only goes at 2.45pm and they arrive at 2.05pm. It takes me at least 1,5 hours to get there, so… I’m so looking forward to it. I know we’ll have some restaurant meals and stuff like that, but I don’t care. I feel fit and fierce :)

I’m going shopping on Tuesday with them probably. They promised me new clothes after I showed them how my pants are dropping from my ass ;) I certainly want new pants and a couple of new tops (how I LOVE they have Primark here!) Oh, and they are renting a car, so I don’t have to go back on Sunday by bus :) My parents rented an appartment in a nearby bigger city, which is more interesting for them. Sunday will be museum day (Guggenheim at last!) and a bit of chillax because it’s going to rain a lot :s

Still, my mum is not convinced to the roller derby thingy. She thinks it’s dangerous and that I will break my legs and arms and loose my job (I don’t even have a job yet).

So I was wondering, what are your plans for this weekend?

And any roller derby girls that are teachers over here?

navel: I think something went wrong with measuring… My journal says I lost 15 cm, which is a lot. I think it’s now 91 cm (so total loss of 8,5 cm)

knee left: 41 cm (total loss of 2,5 cm)
