Skinny Ass Kicking!
I started running in the summer of 2011. I trained for the Ladies run in Brussels (4K). I used a training scheme from Runner’s World and ended in 24’53”. At that time I could run 35min without feeling dead ;)
Then came winter and I stopped for 4 months. Occasionally I went out for a 5 min run :/
In February 2012 I moved to Spain for 5 months to study. I started running again, because in 2012 I want to be able to run 10K in less than an hour. I’m training with a scheme from Runner’s World and everything goes great.
I’m really bad at distances, knowing how far I’ve ran. So I only keep track of the time I ran. At home I have a 1, 2 and 3K lap, but here in Spain I haven’t figured it out yet.
My dad is a marathon runner (he’s 54 and ran more than 15 marathons in his life. He started at the age of 35). I’m really proud of my dad, because he struggles with an alcohol addiction. That’s why I rarely drink alcohol (I drank no alcohol for a year in 2011 and end drinking alcohol for the rest of my life in 2012).
In 2015 I want to run the marathon in Antwerp, preferably with my dad and boyfriend. I’m doing one distance a year, because I need realistic goals (so 10K in 2012, 10miles in 2013, half marathon in 2014, marathon in 2015).
