Skinny Ass Kicking!
I consume 1200 net calories a day.
Breakfast: always oats with skim milk, stevia and a tablespoon of flax seeds. I mostly eat an apple, blood orange or grapefruit as well in the morning.
Lunch: pasta, rice, risotto, tortilla or toast (all whole wheat) with veggies like tomato, mushrooms, spinach, zucchini, avocado, broccoli, witloof (Belgian endive), eggplant, cabbage, coliflower, leek, garlic, celery, pumpkin, onion, corn, peas, carrots, radishes,… depending on what I have in the fridge and the season. Sometimes I add some shredded chicken or tuna from a can.
I like the taste of (bell) peppers, but they make me feel really sick :s That’s why I rarely eat them. I really don’t like beans, so I never eat them :p
Dinner: salad with scrambled egg(s) and cheese, chicken with veggies, fish with veggies or oatmeal (when I had a long day).
Depending on my schedule at school or work, I switch lunch and dinner.
Snacks: fruit (I like all kinds of fruit except for pineapple and coconut. I’m not a huge watermelon fan, except if my boyfriend brings them straight from Morocco), almonds, cashew, whole wheat toast, deca cappuccino (yes, this is a snack for me :p ), yoghurt, darkest dark chocolate, whole wheat cracker.
I allow myself 1-2 treats a week. This can be 1 cookie or 1 icecream or something like that (2 is mostly when I’m having my period :D )
I drink around 3 liters of water per day. 1 glass of skim milk in the morning and green tea. On occasion (when going out with friends) I drink Coke zero or light. I banned alcohol from my life.
I cut back my dairy intake, even though I’m addicted to milk and cheese (and bread). I still eat these things, but in moderation :)
